NPS-87

Role: Editor, Graphics, Composer

NPS-87 repurposes footage from a 1987 National Park Service training video to reflect on the enduring commitment of those who dedicate their lives to America’s protected lands. Through reassembled archival imagery and layered employee testimonies, the film uncovers a quieter motivation for park service work — one rooted in belonging, purpose, and a deep connection to place. Centering on the personal bonds people form with the land, and the lives built around its rhythms, NPS-87 honors a legacy of service and invites reflection on the quiet value of protecting what we share. A small tribute to a way of life — and to those who have chosen to live it.
