Time on the Ice is a meditative short film that follows Greg, a lifelong fisherman now far from the flowing waters of his California upbringing. In the frozen stillness of a Minnesota winter, he’s found a new rhythm, one shaped by solitude, quiet ritual, and a deepening connection to the natural world. What began as a way to stay close to nature evolved into a practice of patience and presence. Shot in collaboration with director of photography Tom Ford, the film captures the subtle power of stillness and the quiet clarity that comes from making space to listen.
